Why We Do What We Do.

So, yes, as much as it kills me to post something out of chronological, I am breaking my own rule and jumping ahead to something awesome we all got to be a part of immediately following The Amazing Race today...

Last night, 5 of the guys in the 11th grade small group talked to their leader about getting baptized.

At camp.

We've actually never done this before (baptize students AT camp) but sometimes God just says "Go for it!" - Like Phillip & the man in Acts 8:26, these guys were saying, "Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?"

And then, surprising us all, as soon as the 5 guys got out of the (freezing) water, they, along with the rest of their small group sprinted down the dock and into the water together in celebration!
