We
set up 8 different challenge stations around the camp. Each team was
then given an envelope and a map showing their starting challenge. From
there they raced off completing each challenge in order to find out
which one to move on to next! After completing the first 7 challenges
the teams raced down to the lake where Steve was waiting with their
final challenge!
5-Pointed Star
Teams must arrange a rope in the shape of a 5-pointed star
(just like you would draw it out)!
River Crossing
All team members must “cross the river” using a limited
number of “rafts” without falling in the river!
No Hands
Team members must pair up and transport a ball without touching
it with their hands or arms!
Magic Carpet
While standing on a tarp, the team must flip the tarp over
without stepping off or touching the ground!
Minesweeper
Teams must figure out a pre-determined pattern in order to
cross from one side of the grid to the other…If they misstep they must start
over!
Toxic Cube
While holding hands, teams must pass through a three dimensional
tilted cube without breaking their hands or touching the cube!
Puzzle
Team members must put together a life-size puzzle!
All Tied Up
The team must untie an extremely knotted rope 8 seconds at a
time. At the end of 8 seconds the rope must be dropped and the next team member
can then pick it back up and continue untying!
And the first team to finish???
Pink-a-Link!!!!
Way to go!
(And also a major shout out to Red Robin (Yummm!) who, although they got stuck for a bit on Puzzle, never gave up or argued and still finished the race!)
