Knowledge is power, right? If your knowledge is maxed out then you should be an extremely powerful person! But how should you use that power? What should a powerful Christian do? What should you do with all the power you receive from the knowledge you are gaining by studying God's word?
Some people would say that knowledge makes you better than everyone and gives you power to rule over them or tell them what to do. Other people say that knowing so much about God and the Bible gives you all the answers to tell people that ask you questions about God, helping you "witness" to others.
Check out 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 and see what verse 2 says about knowledge.
Knowledge is nothing without love? Seriously? You mean I can be the smartest person in the world or know everything about God and it doesn't matter unless I have LOVE?? Yep, that's right!
What do you think about this statement: People don't care how much you KNOW until they know how much you CARE.
Take a second to read verses 4-8 of 1 Corinthians 13.
Does this describe your life? Are you using your power as a Christian to act this way?
