Time for some more birthday love!! This time we're singing to our sweet girl Samantha Dudley who chose to spend her 15th birthday here at camp! You rock, Sam!!
We're continuing our theme today by looking at what happens when go off the mark. The example we looked at is the story of David and Bathsheba in 2 Samuel 11 & 12 and how getting off the mark will take you places you never want to go.
Things that happen when you go off the mark:
-There's a cover up
-There's a cost (the affect on YOU)
-There's a crash (the affect on OTHERS)
There needs to be a response when we go off the mark - See
Psalm 51 (particularly verses 3 & 4)
If you're off the mark you need to:
-Admit (Confess your sins and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY - and not place blame on others)
-Get up (Move PAST the sin)
-Take care (Your sin has affected others...Go back and apologize and right the wrongs)
